2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or contacting us to enquire about our services, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website.
You confirm that you are aged 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement for legal services. If you are acting on behalf of another person or an estate, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
Use of the website or submission of a contact form does not constitute a legal engagement. An engagement begins only when a written engagement letter is signed by both parties.
3. Service Description
Suphapha provides legal services in Thailand relating to inheritance and estate matters. Our three service areas are:
- Estate & Asset Planning — preparation of wills and estate documentation
- Inheritance Dispute Resolution — mediation, negotiation, and court representation
- Probate Representation — filing and management of probate proceedings in Thai courts
Services are available to clients based in Thailand. Remote consultations may be offered at our discretion to clients outside Bangkok or overseas with a connection to a Thai estate matter.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information relevant to your matter
- Respond to requests for documents or information in a timely manner
- Inform us of any change in circumstances that may affect your matter
- Use our website and communications in good faith
- Not engage us to assist with any matter that involves fraud, deception, or conduct contrary to Thai law
5. Fees and Payment
All fees are stated in Thai Baht (THB) and confirmed in writing before any work is undertaken. Our published service fees are:
- Estate & Asset Planning: ฿2,050 THB
- Inheritance Dispute Resolution: ฿5,500 THB
- Probate Representation: ฿4,000 THB
These are standard engagement fees. Complex or multi-stage matters may carry additional fees agreed separately in writing. No additional charges are made without your prior consent.
Payment terms will be specified in your engagement letter. We do not offer refunds on fees paid for work already completed.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, layout, and design — is owned by or licensed to Suphapha. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute website content without written permission. Documents we prepare on your behalf during a legal engagement become your property upon full payment of the agreed fee.
7. Disclaimers
Information on this website is for general guidance only. It does not constitute legal advice for your specific situation. Please contact us to discuss your individual circumstances.
Legal outcomes depend on the specific facts of each case and cannot be predicted with certainty. We do not make any representation as to the outcome of any matter we handle on your behalf.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Suphapha's liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid by you for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of opportunity or damage to relationships arising from the outcome of legal proceedings.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice. Where you terminate, fees for work completed to the date of termination remain due. Where we terminate due to conduct on your part that prevents us from continuing, the same applies.
We reserve the right to terminate an engagement if continuing would require us to act contrary to our professional obligations or Thai law.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or the provision of our services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.
If negotiation does not resolve the matter, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, as the jurisdiction of first instance.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect from the date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
